Measurement of Self Inductance by Maxwell Bridge 
A Maxwell’s inductive bridge shown in figure below is used to measure an unknown inductance in comparison with known inductance. The values at balance R2= 500Ω, R4=600Ω, R3= 1000Ω, r2=100Ω and L2= 2mH. Calculate the values of R1 and L1 . Calculate also the Q-factor of the coil if frequency is 1000Hz.
A moving coil ammeter has a uniform scale with 50 division and gives a full scale reading 10 A. The instrument can read up to (1/5)th of a scale division with a fair degree of certainty. What is the resolution of the instrument in mA?
